To help achieve a zero waste Liverpool City Region, where we make the most efficient use of resources by reducing our demand on them, and maximising reuse, recycling and recovery of resources instead of treating them as waste.

Zero Waste 2040

We’ve set ourselves a big challenge to reduce waste and to support the wider aim of a net zero carbon Liverpool City Region by 2040. To achieve this we need a road map to chart our journey and get us to our Zero Waste 2040 destination.
