EVENT | Circular Economy Club LCR: Lunch and Learn Workshop

 

Join us on Tuesday 21 July at 12:00 for the Circular Economy Club Liverpool City Region Lunch and Learn Workshop.

Through a mix of shared learning and discussion, this session will look at how circular economy principles can support practical climate action across Liverpool City Region.

Whether you are completely new to the circular economy or already involved in sustainability work, you will be very welcome. Come along to learn something new, meet others with shared interests, and enjoy time for a free lunch and networking.

  • Venue: Room 414, Cedar House – The University of Liverpool, Ashton Street, Liverpool, L69 3GE. The UoL have offered this venue free of charge.
  • Catering: Catering will be through their in-house catering team – Delivered To You.

12:00 – 12:15 Arrival and Refreshments Guests arrive, settle in, and are welcomed with light refreshments.
12:15 – 12:20 Opening Remarks Welcome, introductions, and framing for the day.
12:20 – 13:00 Climate Awareness Workshop Climate awareness workshop led by the Northwest Net Zero Hub (John Mullins)
13:00 – 13:10 Transition / Refreshment Break A short pause to reset and refresh
13:10 – 13:20 Circular Economy Principles An introduction to the circular economy by CEC LCR. (Simone Greyling)
13:20 – 13:30 Talking Sustainability Presentation on the social strategy for sharing sustainability actions by St Helens Council. (tbc)
13:30 – 14:00 Lunch & Networking A concluding lunch with time for informal networking and discussion.
